READ: Been Long You Saw Me
So it’s been ages since my last article. Well this could be attributed to the examination in school (Yep! Back in school, and in the words of J.Cole
“only for the hoes and a class or two”) and probably the December wave of job responsibilities. Whichever one or both, it’s fair to say I’ve been swarmed and I’ve deprived you my readers something interesting and bright.
Anyways, what to write about is brewing and I promise you will be swarmed with articles; as usual the real, the fiction, the comical, and the end of a career (hopefully won’t get to that). The Pursuit of Happiness will resume as well as the long heard from The Consultant as well as the occasional Comic Relief and Event.
Well the year draws to a close and we decide to reminisce and some go further to make resolutions and all; but the fact is, you can’t be where you are this time last year. Either you moved up the ladder or you took a dive down, please note that if you are exactly where you are this time last year seek help from a Cele prophet, no love for you from your Village.
For those with a dive, things can always get better only if you know what it requires, you can start by reading The Pursuit of Happiness series, and then you put into practice what you’ve learned. It is not a crime to not know how to go about a thing the crime is in when you decide to remain ignorant. Learning to seek help from older and preferably more experienced persons will only make you better and never belittles you (no one man knows it all).
For those with the climb, keep doing what it is that keeps you in a good position, don’t relent and relish too much in your comfort zone (nothing happens there) else, the world will leave you behind. At least, relish yourself this holiday; you deserve a good time and a good spending on yourself. Go out, take a trip, and go shopping, make crazy decisions, just make sure you get your head back in the game by the end of the year, because it’s time to resume the hustle.
As for me, I moved up from where I was last year in every aspect. Well maybe relationship wise though; my girlfriend is treating me so well, I find comfort in my ex. Not complaining though, guess it’s the downs of life, I just focus on the ups as they give me a sense of purpose and once the time is right, the other half will walk up to take her place; but till then, I have to work up my kids trust funds.
It’s been a great 2014, 2015 can only get better… “SALUTE”
